Study On Chemical Plant Safety Management By Behavior Based Safety

With sustained and rapid economic growth in China, the chemical industry has become a importance industry of our national company economy, however the chemical industry inevitably faces the challenge of large-scale, complicated device, and other potential dangerous factors. From the analysis results of enormous incidents, it is found that most of incident were caused by unsafe behaver.Based on this background, this study will focus on the people's unsafe behaviors..According to the analysis of chemical enterprises characteristics, this thesis the makes promotion plan of safety behaviors.. For the chemical enterprises with high rates of accidents, this thesis analysis all level of employees in the enterprise, namely the management, a line head, the general staff of which effects on behavior safety management, these effects were about the quality, the decrease degree on unsafe behaviors and professional level of safe observation behaviors. Though monitoring and noting the promoting process of safety observation of CB company for one year,collected the date of safety observation and unsafety behavior,which was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through establishing multiple regression model. The results shows: for the safety observation reducing unsafety behavior: the manager is the highest, supervisor follows, and worker is the lowest; the quality : the manager is the highest, supervisor follows, and worker is the lowest; professional level: the supervisor is the highest,worker follows, and manager is the lowest. At last according to the predicting and analyzing results of mathematical model, this thesis proposed to set appropriate and scientific goals assuring the maximum output from the most appropriate investment on safety management for all levels of personals on safety behavior observation, to realize the ultimate goal of reducing accidents by decreasing the degree of unsafe behaviors to be under control. This study provides some theoretical basis and practical references for chemical enterprise safety management.
