China's Water Resources Use Efficiency Research

Our country is a rich and total water resources per capita is lower belong to the state of water resources shortage.With the continuous development of social economy,the speeding up of urbanization,industrialization and sustainable continuous increase of population,more and more demand of water resources of social economy,the increasingly obvious contradictions between supply and demand of water resources.At present,the shortage of water resource has already become "bottleneck" important for the sustainable development of our social economy,increasing the efficiency of water resources is the feasible and effective to solve the problem of the shortage of water resources one way,and is imminent.In this paper,using the experience of the domestic and foreign research on water use efficiency and important results,the use of data envelopment analysis(DEA)method,on the basis of analyzing the water resource utilization efficiency of different provinces and regions in our country,and discusses the factors that influence efficiency of water resource utilization.This paper USES C2R model of data envelopment analysis(DEA)method,and expounds the present situation and problems of water resource utilization in our country,on the basis of the study on system efficiency of water use in China.Select production water(the sum of agricultural water and industrial water),water,practitioners and fixed asset investment as input index,the GDP as the output indicators,combined with China's 31 provinces,cities,2004-2013,10 years of relevant data,using the data envelopment analysis(DEA)method to the provinces and regions in our country calculates the water use efficiency and comparative analysis,Utilization efficiency of water resources in different regions of the gap between the obvious,at the same time comparative measurement results concluded that the national water resources use efficiency,experienced a fall after a rise in process first;In the average water resources use efficiency of the top area is mostly urban development level is higher and higher GDP provinces and cities and regions.And the average water resources use efficiency ranking backward area,its level of GDP and development level is relatively backward,also can see the level of economic development and water use efficiency has certain relevance.Finally,together with the present situation of water resource utilization in our country,and puts forward reasonable Suggestions,enhance the efficiency of the water and is conducive to the sustainable utilization of water resources in China.
