Modern society, the quality of power supply is increasingly high demand, and the distribution network as a key link to provide quality services to customers, power supply is reliable and directly determine the quality of service and customer power supply quality. Because the rural power grid structure, large scale equipment, the relationship is complicated, the traditional way of distribution network operation and management methods have been unable to meet the needs of modern smart grid. In order to meet the demand for better power supply, must adopt modern techniques of planning and troubleshooting network of distribution network, strengthen monitoring and fault handling capacity operation of electrical equipment distribution, improve power quality and reliability level, feeder automation provides technical support to improve rural power supply quality and reliability level.This paper takes Hengshui country as the research object, focuses on the research of self-healing control planning. First of all, the failure mode is suitable for radial distribution network, the protection function is delegated to the FTU, has the characteristics of fast protection and does not affect the non fault section; secondly, the radiation type fault location algorithm with fault tolerance, still can be reliably identified in the fault information loss or distortion, accurate isolation finally, put forward the fault; a small amount of calculation, the search time is short, easy to realize the ideal method based on weighted fault recovery strategy, can effectively avoid the occurrence of non fault area long time blackout in rural Hengshui.The research results can effectively improve the reliability of rural power supply in Hengshui, improve the quick response ability of fault, shorten the interruption time. The results of the implementation of Hengshui rural power network self-healing control key technology to reach the provincial advanced level, but also for the future of rural Hengshui in many ways to achieve great economic benefits and lay a good foundation.
