The Research Based On Pattern Language About Landscape Planning And Design Of Nanchang's Residence Community

With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the living standard of Chinese people has been improved steadily. The residential communities of Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province, have been developed rapidly as well. Unfortunately, the rapid development has caused several problems, which leads to the idea that planning and design of living envelopment need constantly improvement to adapt to urban development. By finding new design guidelines, we will improve the situation for the planning and design of residential area of Nanchang, and work out a practical solution.“Pattern language”, created by Alexander, has the feature of systematic, organic, well arranged and interconnected. As a complete method for theoretical guidance and practical research, “pattern language” is concise. It has been applied in a number of fields. For landscape architecture area, the researches about “pattern language” stay still in initial stage, and having plenty space to be improved. Therefore, this paper aims to improve the future residential community of Nanchang. It is based on the design concept and method of “pattern language”, the combination of the cogent analysis of Nanchang residential community. It is aimed to summarize the pattern of landscapeplanning and design, which suit for the construction of modern residential communities of Nanchang.This paper interpreted the concept of “pattern language”, and analyzed the applicability for it in three aspects, including the analysis of environment, space layout and landscape facilities. Then, the study analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of Nanchang's communities, based on the actual and specific situations of the residential area. Finally, build up a suggested guidance mode which based on previous analysis.In conclusion, the paper summarizes the impact of physical environment to the factor model, layout mode and spatial mode for comprehensive planning and road planning, the landscape plots and facilities mode of hard landscape, soft landscape and amenity facilities. Moreover, the paper analyzed the benefits and practical significance of applying“pattern language” to study the development of residential community, providing reference for the field of planning and design in the future.
