A Subsequent Study On The Fa?ade Retrofit Of Architectural Department Hall Of Tianjin University

Tianjin University Architecture Department Building Facade Renovation Project is a demonstration project of Tianjin’s Natural Science Foundation Program: Research on Renewing and Recycling Technology of Hard Decorative Materials in Facade Renovation of Existing Buildings.The Renovation Project is trying to combine existing architecture renovation and waste material recycling techniques.It is an experimental innovation project for using hard finishing material recycling techniques on facade renovation project.This article is based on onsite research about the using effect of Tianjin University Architecture Department Building Facade Renovation Project.It summarizes the facade renew techniques and combine the project to tease apart renovation strategies.Based on questions from the follow-up research,the article discusses the technical problems of the project from two aspects: facade renovation and waste material recycling.By interview the design firms,manufacturers and construction companies,the article analysis the entire process of the project and keynotes of facade recycling technique.Meanwhile,it reflects the project and proposes optimizing suggestions.It provides a demonstration and guidance for the future facade renovation projects.
