Research On Schedule-Cost Prediction Of EPC Project In The Construction Phase Based On SVM-EVM

The implementation of EPC general contracting mode has become an important way for the domestic construction industry to meet the international standard,under the new situation of the international market.However,general contractor still lacks theoretical and practical experience to control the project cost and schedule.Besides the overall level and comprehensive strength of our country is far trail the international advanced level.In the case of market competitiveness,the EPC project schedule and cost management directly determines the success or failure of the construction project.Therefore,it is necessary to predict the progress and cost of EPC project to improve the economic and social benefits of the project.This paper focuses on the EPC project schedule and cost management forecast.First of all,analysis the relationship between the progress and cost of construction stage and the mechanism of mutual influence,the basic theory and process of integrated control.Based on the existing construction cost control,this paper puts forward the scientific and effective measures.However,it is found that the traditional method is not accurate and the precision of prediction is not enough in the study of the actual construction project's cost forecast.So this paper firstly uses EVM to handle data and gets index.Then uses SVM to predict the progress and cost of project in the construction phase.In order to get better predictions,using particle swarm optimization parameters to predict the progress and cost index of the project.Finally this model is applied to predict the progress and cost of EPC project case.The original data and forecast data we obtained from the case are compared to verify the model's maneuverability and effectiveness.On this account we can improve the schedule and cost's management level of the EPC project in the construction phase.
