Research On Safety Planning And Control System-based On Lean Construction Technologies

The construction industry has been into the new normal phase,while the safety issues are still outstanding.It is the high time that construction companies improved the safety management and project performance as guided by project delivery.With the characteristics of disposability,dynamics and complexity,the key point of safety management is planning and control of project.Scholars,research can be divided as three phases:the first phase aimed at critical-chain management,which the biggest defect lied in dispersion of activities,as a result of divided value stream and lack of integrality and systematic of safety planning and control;the second phase is based on the theory of Last Planner System,in which all of those are index statistics without description of prevention and coordination of control,as well as safety performance;the third phase is based on lean construction,on which there is lack of the research of integration of safety planning and control process and lean construction technologies,as well as the evidence of mechanism of SPC’s elements.So it discussed the Safety Planning and Control System based on lean construction technologies,which combined with LPS,Risk Analysis,JIT,Kan-Ban,6S and PDCA management.It divided system into safety analysis,planning,control and performance,and analyzed the mechanism of SPC’s elements with SEM.It concluded that safety planning and control have remarkable significance on safety performance,and the four levels constituted the whole system and circulation,leading great impact on safety management.According to the conclusions,it also analyzed the potential barriers when using this system,which are lacking of technology,cost,understanding of project characteristics,support of management.As to strategies,it summarized three points:systemic view,technology investment and stakeholder cooperation mechanism,for adoption of SPC based on lean construction technologies.
