Rapid urbanization not only results in China's over-concentrated population,construction land tension and other urban issues,but also leads the urban residential district to a higher residential density and diverse layout forms.The outdoor environment of the residential district which has an important indicator,wind environment,is directly related to the quality of life of the community residents.Therefore,exploring the relationship between floor area ratio and wind environment under different layouts has become an important area in residential research field.In this paper.According to the meteorological parameters of Ganzhou urban area,the simulated environmental condition parameters was set.The wind environment in 16 spatial modes was simulated and analyzed.The wind speed and wind speed frequency were taken as the evaluation indexes,and the wind environmental data of various residential quarters were obtained.Through the analysis and comparison of the simulation data,this research summarize the quantity and quality relations between the floor area ratio and the outdoor wind environment in different spatial modes.The influence of floor area ratio on the outdoor wind environment is studied,which is based on four typical layouts of residential district.In the choice of simulation methods,the research has taken various factors,such as the experimental cost,the work cycles,performance methods,application availability and other aspects of comprehensive consideration into account.Finally,the computer numerical simulation method was chosen.In the extraction and selection of residential district spatial pattern,the research divided residential into five categories: staggered type,determinant type,enclosing type,enclosing type,point group type,and mixed type,based on the previous research.Through the field survey and collecting on the basic data such as floor plan,floor area ratio,building density,home plan in the residential district of Ganzhou central urban area,considering the requirement of insolation interval and spatial characteristics of various layout patterns,there are 16 idealized spatial models of residential districts in different layout forms obtained by abstracting induction method,which provides experimental model for the following simulation research.Finally,a wind environment evaluation table with different floor area ratio under different layouts of residential district is obtained for the reference of designers.Through the comparison and analysis of the research conclusion and the existing plot,the authors try tofind out the efforts of designers and builders to improve the local wind environment in the planning and construction,as the application and test of this research.of designers.
