The Study On Intercourse Space Within Residential Block Of Guangzhou

Since China entered the era of commercial housing,the material environment of urban residential blocks has been significantly improved,people’s attention to the development of residential blocks has gradually focused on the level of residential intercourse space.The research on residential intercourse space has expanded,but the current domestic research lacks understanding of residential intercourse activities.On the other hand,the State Council and industry experts are advocating the return of the residential blocks.Therefore,the study on intercourse space within residential block is not only the expansion of the research content of residential intercourse space,but also the response to the development trend of residential model in China.This paper selects Wuyang new town as the main research object,using the initial research method,behavior mapping method,behavior verification as research method,using the method of space syntax analysis method as analysis method,analyzes the characteristics of the intercourse space of Wuyang new town,puts forward strategies and suggestions to optimize the intercourse space within residential block of Guangzhounts.This paper is divided into 4 parts.First part includes research status analysis,the concept discrimination and relative theory research.It includes the analysis of the research status of residential intercourse space,the definition of neighborhood residential blocks,and arrangement of the theory of territory and community social capital.Second part analyzes the characteristics of public space of residential block in Guangzhou.This part analyzes the characteristics of the public space of residential block about Guangzhou and Wuyang new town from 3 aspects: the overall characteristics of residential area,the spatial characteristics of the residential court and the characteristics of the spatial elements.Third part analyzes the characteristics of residential intercourse space of Wuyang new town.This part includes the analysis of intercourse activities of Wuyang new town;analysis of the relationship between characteristics of intercourse space layout of Wuyang new town and public space characteristics;analysis of the relationship between spatial elements and activities,;comparative analysis of the population type between Wuyang new town and other residential state;evaluation of the level of community social capital among every kind of intercourse activity.Final part puts forward strategies and suggestions for the optimization of the intercourse space of residential blocks in Guangzhou.Firstly put increasing the quantity of intercourse activities,meeting the needs of all age groups,improving the social significance of intercourse activities as goal,then put forward specific strategies and suggestions,including the optimization of residential layout,optimize the layout of intercourse space,to meet the minimum requirements of all kinds of intercourse activities,functional mixing and optimization,public participation in residential intercourse space,developing behavior place and so on.This study found that the complete block type settlements space system presents a hierarchical structure,there is a close relationship between the intercourse space system layout and block scale,residential court scale,type of territory space,type of street space,type of residential court,accessibility,and all kinds of activities have different requirements for the interface,facilities,plants,etc.Compared to other residential models,residential block is more beneficial to young people,middle-aged people to participate in residential intercourse activities,but the residential block of Guangzhou has not yet met their communication needs;the contribution from intercourse activity to community social capital has a positive correlation with intercourse activities of the average length of time and frequency.
