A Translation Report On Nevada Revised Statutes: Insurance Contract

Insurance system is an important supplementary part of social redistribution system and social security system.Later than America, insurance legislation in China still has some imperfect parts. After several times of large economic crisis, America has established a better insurance law system which can be a reference to improve legislation of Chinese insurance law.Using Nevada Revised Statutes: Insurance Contract as the source material, the present translation report focuses on difficulties caused by the differences of sentence order between English and Chinese. Based on time sequence, space sequence and logic sequence, this report adopts such translation techniques as shifting, linear translation, combination and division to deal with the difficulties hereof.
