Requirements for translation of contracts between home and abroad companies has significantly increased with the development of China's foreign trade year by year, and more and more scholars contribute to the study on how to make the contract translation better, especially the bilateral contracts.This paper has selected the common type of contract, bilateral contract(Bilateral contracts refers to the contracts that both parties have mutual obligations to each other, the most common bilateral contracts types in real life includes the sales contract, exchange contracts, purchasing contract, leasing contract, etc.) as the study cases, covering three types of bilateral contracts, which covers scope of intended target audience scope from small to big, formality from low to high, and content appearance frequency from low to high(which will be done efficiently with the help of professional translation software and proper corpus, and plays an important role in task dividing); In this paper, I summarized the translation strategies of different types of bilateral contracts under the guidance of Skopos Theory by giving examples respectively, aiming at improving the translation quality of bilateral contracts.Meanwhile, in this paper I summarized the problems that I came across while doing translation and the translation strategy of bilateral contracts, hoping to provide some help for translators who contribute to translation of bilateral contracts.
