Financial Text Analysis And Translation Strategies

The translation practice is based on the risk management,one part form 2014 annual report of HSBC bank Canada,which was disclosed to the public about their business operation.In this article the characteristics of financial text are analyzed,and certain translation strategies are also given when translating a similar text,including vocabulary,syntax and the charts.This paper is divided into four parts:the first chapter is the description of translation mission,introducing the material source and the significance;The second part is about translation process,describing the translation process;The third part mainly analyzes the characteristics of financial text,from the aspects of vocabulary,expression,charts,and syntax;The fourth part is about case analysis and translation strategies,giving corresponding translation strategies from different aspects;The last part is summary of translation practice,and put forward some ideas according to the experiences during translation.
