Idiomatic phrases are commonly used in oral language.It is fixed in structure.The phrases are short and pithy in expressing rich meanings.It is not only the condensation of the traditional culture of Chinese nationality but also the reflection of Chinese long history and culture.To some extent,it enables Chinese learners to know about Chinese more naturally and comprehensively to learn and master the cultural connotation in Chinese idiomatic phrases.The author got the statistics about the appearing frequency of idioms in textbooks and program in CCL corpus base of Beijing University and established a frequency table,followed by classification according to cultural connotation and sources.Then some idioms were added and 13 idioms topics were set,and a questionnaire incorporating part of idioms was designed to survey the biases for the foreign students in Jiangxi Normal University from such aspects as comprehension of idioms,output and attitude,etc.when they acquire idioms.Subsequently the author induced seven biases and suggested semantic interpretation method,semantic tracing method,context teaching method,comparison teaching method,multimedia teaching method,concept graphic method and word property analogy method.Lastly the idioms for one topic were selected to attempt to design a Chinese idioms class...
