This thesis regards the Commodity Demand Schedule and Specification as the study object.It expounds on the species,functions and uses of facilities,the requirements for the tenderee and the tenderer,safety using standard,etc.Materials not only are strongly professional,but also have strong language logic,thus we can adopt literal translation to ensure the accuracy of translation.Firstly,the text has many professional terms.I need to classify them by proper nouns and common nouns and use literal translation strategy to deal with some logical words.As to the rest,I have taken the word separating translation method,increased or decreased words to ensure the accuracy of the vocabulary;Secondly,in the material,the active sentences are various,but the deep meanings of some of them are actually the passive ones.On the premise of accuracy,flexible uses of different translation strategies are available,such as changing the order of the subject and object,using the new sentence patterns,etc.,in this way,I can make this translation more localized.Thirdly,there are a large number of compound sentences,some of them are difficult to understand.Paying attention to the logical sequence of sentences and the differences in Chinese and English reading,doing proper cuts and using the sentence separating method to make the translation more concise and easy to understand.Finally,when dealing with subject-less sentences,I have added some subjects in proper place according to the context meaning,and made the sentences complete.After finishing the Commodity Demand Schedule and Specification,I get the deep understanding of technical materials,translation skills are improving,which also lays the solid foundation for future translation.
