A Practice Report On The Translation Of The Commentary Of Wild China

On the basis of the translation practice of Wild China,the report is intended to introduce the translation task,analyze and summarize the translation strategies used in the practice.In the process of translation,the author took Hans J.Vermeer's Skopos Theory as theoretical guidance.Under the guidance of Skopos Theory,the author mainly adopted amplification,omission,literal translation,liberal translation and other translation strategies.The report consists of four parts:task description,the preparation of translation,case analysis and practice summary.In the first part,the author mainly introduces translation task and the request of the client.The preparation of translation shows the preparation of translation theory and the related background information.The case analysis is the most important part of the report.In this part,combined with cases,the author analyzes the translation strategies under the guidance of Skopos Theory.The last part shows the perceptions and enlightenment gained through translation.
