A Study On The Ways Of Cultivating Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers

The volunteer Chinese language teachers are called "the carrier of language,the messenger of culture" by Hanban,they are very important Chinese cultural communication talents.Judging from the current situation,most of volunteer Chinese language teachers are made up of graduates,graduate students and teachers in primary and secondary schools,some of their major are teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and others are other professional.Shortly after attending Hanban's post training,volunteer Chinese language teachers were sent to different jobs.Through the investigation and study of volunteer Chinese language teachers,the author finds that there are some problems in the cultivation of volunteer Chinese language teachers,such as,some of them whose foreign language ability and culture competence are not meet the requirement,the professionalism of teacher's team is not strong.The author believes that Hanban and industry experts confuse Chinese volunteer Chinese language teachers' cultivating and training,didn't pay enough attention to training the nonprofessional volunteer Chinese language teachers,and the quality of talent cultivating is not high,which leads to these problems.Western missionaries have accumulated rich experience in the training of intercultural communication talents,which deserves the training of volunteer Chinese language teachers to learn,on the basis of their successful experience,the writer raised the“five-to-one”cultivating idea of the volunteer Chinese language teachers."Five-in-one" cultivating approach emphasizes the family,schools,organizations(Hanban),workplace,self(volunteer Chinese language teacher)play a role in talent cultivating system.The author points out there are some problems of volunteer Chinese language teachers cultivating in family education,school education,tissue culture,workplace experience,self training and puts forward some corresponding suggestions,in order to play their role in the cultivation of volunteer Chinese language teachers better,and analyzed the meaning of the implementation of the "five-to-one" cultivating way.Training is an important part of cultivating.In order to solve the problem of shortage of international Chinese teachers,it is necessary to develop the functions of short-term training and train a large number of qualified Chinese teachers in a relatively short period of time.Based on the author's own practical experience and the investigation and study of overseas volunteer Chinese language teachers,the author puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the training of volunteer Chinese language teachers,such as to attract social resources to participate in the training of volunteer Chinese language teachers,to improve the ability of volunteer Chinese language teachers cross-cultural adaptation,to practice the correct concept of intercultural communication etc.
