A Practice Report On The Application Of Discourse Coherence Strategies In Simulated Chines-English Consecutive Interpreting

Since entering the twenty-first Century,IT industry has been developing rapidly in the world.China's IT sector has also made considerable progress,which emerges a number of IT elites.As a leading meeting of the industry,China(Shenzhen)IT Summit 2016 shows China's IT industry development status and future prospects in the whole world.Therefore,how to effectively convey its spirit of innovation and enhance its influence in the world is of great significance according to this simulated consecutive interpreting.Consecutive interpreting means if the speaker finished a sentence or a paragraph,the interpreter began to interpret as soon as possible by using another language fluently and exactly.Source language may turn into target language through this process.This report is based on the discourse coherence strategy under the interpretive theory of translation,which aims to solve the problems such as long sentences interpretation,discourse structure confusion and steam structure interpretation in consecutive interpreting.I hope a valuable help for improving the ability of interpreting can be received through this report.Meanwhile,it is hoped to provide an effective reference for interpreting quality in China's IT industry,so that it can be used to enhance the influence of China's IT industry in the world.
