This is an E-C translation report which is extracted from UNWTO Annual Report 2014(Chapter3-7). It mainly introduces achievements of tourism sustainable development in the countries around the world. Through analyzing and collecting tourism numbers, it provides weather vane for tourism of various countries and guides the trend and direction of tourism development.This report consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction, the purpose and significance of this translation practice. The second part is the preparations for translation, including the analysis of this text, theoretical introduction, the reading of parallel text and the supplement in tourism knowledge. The case study comes in the third part in which the Newmark's text typology and communicative translation theory are applied to the translation practice at the lexical, syntactical and discourse level. The translation methods adopted include literal translation, free translation,conversion,omitting and separating method. The last part summarizes the major part of findings and limitations.It is expected that this report can offer some references for the translation of similar texts.
