The Study Of Peru Students' Motivation Of Learning Chinese

Learning motivation is one of the most important elements for successful second language learning.Based on students from Confucius Institute of Peru's Santa maria Catholic university,this paper focused on motivation of Chinese learning of Peru students.This paper consists of five parts: first part summarized the significance of the paper and made an introduction of the study objects and method;second part showed the design of questionnaire and interview;third part gave an analysis of the survey results for searching the motivation of Chinese learning of Peru students;based on survey results,fourth part gave suggestions on how to arouse students' motivation of Chinese learning;in the last part,the paper summarized the achievements and pointed out the inadequacies.According to the questionnaire,reasons that Peru students learning Chinese mainly concentrated on three aspects: first,the interests of Chinese culture and the language;second,traveling China;third,the scholarship supplied by Confucius Institute.Results of interviewing part demonstrated that teaching level and personal charisma have big influence on students' learning motivation and class of cultural experience is conducive to students accepting Chinese knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture.Hence in accordance with researching results,the paper gave specific suggestions on arousing students' motivation of Chinese learning.
