The Use Of Additions And Simpilification In English To Chinese Consecutive Interpreting

Addition and simplification is an interpreting tactic used for deverbalization.As an important element of the interpretive theory,if used well,it can help improve the interpretation.However,what specific methods to use remains a question.By analyzing the mistakes in a mock conference interpretation,most of which were due to the language,cultural and understanding barriers and led to the absence or the misuse of the tactic,this thesis attempts to find out how to use it to fix these mistakes and avoid them in the future,and how to use these methods when encountering language,cultural and understanding barriers.
