At present,there are few researches about the academic anxiety of senior high school students in china.A better understanding of the academic anxiety of senior high school students and the factors that influences such anxiety factors would help to improve the mental health of senior high school students.In the present study 709 senior high school students completed the senior high school students learning anxiety scale,five personality factors questionnaire for middle school students and the Chinese Version of demand scale to server the purpose of exploring the relationship among learning anxiety,personality traits and structural requirements.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The self-made senior high school students' academic anxiety scale has a total of 18 items,which are composed of the following dimensions:academic evaluation anxiety,academic achievement anxiety and academic situation anxiety.(2)Academic anxiety of senior high school students was significantly higher than the theoretical value;learning anxiety scores was significantly differentiated by gender,origin and grade in senior high school students while the differences in subjects(arts and sciences),school types and singleton did not have such an effect.The academic evaluation anxiety scores was also significantly differentiated by gender,origin and grade;and so does the academic achievement anxiety scores and academic situation anxiety scores.(3)Senior high school students scores higher than the theoretical value in openness,extraversion,agreeableness and conscientiousness,however,there was no significant difference between emotional and theoretical median;openness scores were differentiated by the source of students and singleton;extraversion scores were differentiated by gender,origin and whether only child and grade;agreeableness score had significant differences among genders and school types;prudence scores were significantly different among school types;emotional scores were significantly different among genders,origins and grades.(4)The total score of the structural needs of senior high school students is higher than the theoretical value,and students' origin source has a significant impact on the score.(5)There is a significant negative correlation between senior high school students'academic anxiety and openness,extraversion and conscientiousness.There was a significant positive correlation between the total demand and its sub-dimensions and the total score of learning anxiety and its sub-dimensions.(6)There is a significant predictive effect on academic anxiety of senior high school students and the dimensions of demand structure and personality structure,the demand has significant positive predictive effect on emotional reaction and lack of structure;extraversion,openness,and conscientiousness have significant negative predictive effect.(7)Through the intermediary effect test,the need for structure of high school students play a partial mediating role between emotional,extraversion and academic anxiety.
