Practice Report On Operating Instruction Of Scientific Product From The Perspective Of Function Plus Loyalty

With increasing exchanges between countries and the rapid development of science and technology in China,there are growing number of technological products walking into our daily life.Since it is very important to study on scientific literature and documents for the prosperity of our scientific course,there are more and more translators drawing attention to science and technology translation.Entrusted by Dalian Tianrey Science & Technology Co.,Ltd,the author was responsible for translating the manual of lyophilizer operation for the purchaser's correct and safe operation.Based on the text of this translation program,this translation practice report was finished under guidance of Nord's “function plus loyalty” principle.With the combination of theory and practice,the author trys to analyze and solve the translation problems,improve the translation level as well as provide some valuable experiences for the author's translation learning in the future.This report is divided into four parts altogether,the first part of which the author makes a brief introduction of the translation program,mainly centering on the text backup ground and text analysis.The second part,in which the author lays emphasis up on the translation theory and its application and combination of the source text,mainly including preparation before translation,the translation course as well as translation text proofreading.Besides,there is also a simplified introduction of the author's translation plan.For the third part is an analysis of translation examples,from the perspective of “Function plus Loyalty” principle and instrumental translation theory,the author has worked out and adopted a detailed and efficient translation strategy to analyze and solve the translation problem.The last part is the summary of this translation practice.Combined with her own understanding of Nord's translation theory,the author makes a conclusion of the problems she met during the period of translation task and gains she got.
