| Town public servants play an important role in the construction of rural grassroots political power, whereas social or academic field doesn’t emphasize enough attention on those people. According to the survey, the group of public servants is a highly burnout-happen group. Once an individual burnout, not only endanger his own health, but also have a negative impact on the entire organization and its services and even threat the harmony of the society. So the research on the current condition of public servants and the reason why public servants are burnout is necessary. In this paper, the author took Tianjia Town public servants as the research object, to study the pubic servants’ burnouts situation to put forward my own opinion. In order to obtain the first-hand data, the research use MBI which was widely used on burnout measurement to designed Tianjia Town public servants burnout questionnaire. And in order to take qualitative analysis, the author interviewed 20 typical people from different types to gain deep reason of public servants’ burnouts. In this paper, distributed 373 questionnaires to all the public servants in Tianjia town, and recovered 265 valid questionnaires. By analyzing these questionnaires, we can come to the following conclusions:(a) 80.4% of Tianjia Town public officials is enduring job burnout, in which 60.4% people in a moderate burnout level, while 20% in a high burnout level. Only 19.6% of Tianjia Town public servants don’t have the problems. (b) There are many demographic variables such as the identity of age, education, marital status, rank, working years, nature of work can include the burnout level, and this paper will analyze on the basis of investigation, trying to find possible ways to release the burnout level from the social, the organizations and the individuals. |
