With the rapid development of economy and society, intensity and pace of work have been greatly enhanced, which brought great pressure to the various sectors of society, affecting their physical and mental health. When this pressure can't be solved effectively, it will produce burnout. As the most basic level of government departments, Sub-district Offices undertake not only the important task of upload and issue, but also a direct point of contact between the Government and the public. Compared to other levels of government, their job duties, work pressure, and promotion of space presented a significant difference. The issue of job burnout of the staff in the Sub-district Office would directly affect the operational efficiency, the service effectiveness and the effect of the implementation of national policy. Therefore, it's necessary to explore the status of Sub-district Office staff burnout problems and propose effective interventions.In this paper, the research objects are the Sub-district Office staff from Xi'an Xincheng District. Conducting in-depth interviews with 10 different types, but typical Sub-district Office staff, and distributing 200 questionnaires,170 valid questionnaires were recovered. Based on its findings, the overall staff burnout situation of the Sub-district Office staff from Xi'an Xincheng District was descriptive analysis. By using factor analysis, variance analysis, significance analysis and other methods, the job burnout situation of the Sub-district Office staff was analyzed under different demographic variables, and the factors which influenced the Sub-district Office staff burnout were also analyzed. Survey results showed that moderate occupation burnout ratio was 72%, serious occupation burnout accounted for 11%, while the basic burnout ratio was only 17% in the Sub-district Office staff from Xi'an Xincheng District. Burnout differences existed in gender, age, marital status, education level, work experience, identity categories, job levels and other demographic variables. The main factors will affect the Sub-district Office staff burnout attributed to individuals, organizations and social work. From these three aspects, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to preventing and alleviating the Sub-district Office staff burnout.
