Security Concept Of China-EU Relations:Strategic Partnership?

China-EU bilateral relations are one of the crucial importance in today's world.When analyzing this crucial relations,for many reasons the focus falls on the economic and trade dimension of it.With China's more active participation in the global affairs and the European Union's aim to spread the the notion of human rights and contribute greatly to the global security,it is of an even bigger importance to ensure China's and the EU's security relations towards each other and the world in general.One of the objectives of this thesis is to provide an insight into the security strategies of both the European Union and China,to the motives,interests,concerns and concepts of security for both actors.Another objective of this thesis is to evaluate the ongoing dialogues concerning the issue of security in the context of China-EU relations.The thesis will conclude that although China-EU security relations are evolving rapidly,the strategic aspect of this relation is yet to be established.
