A Study Of Social Organization’s Functions In Community Pension Services

At present,China’s society has entered a stage of high-speed aging,with the increasing quality of life,people’s living concept is changing,the traditional family pension model and the existing pension agencies can not meet the diverse needs of the community to support the elderly.In this form,China vigorously promote the socialization of pension services,define the community as the basic unit of future social pension services,and actively mobilize the community to participate in community pension services.In the practice of exploration,social organizations can play a important role in the community pension because they can play a variety of roles in the community pension services and provide pension services for the elderly population directly or indirectly.More and more social organizations began to participate in the community under the guidance of the government,take the advantages in the pension and other public services fields that government and enterprises can not provide.This paper investigates the situation of the old-age service in the Fengling North community in Nanning through the field investigation and interview,and analyzes the main functions of the Hele Family Service Center combining the main ways it participate in the community pension service.Then find out the main obstacles which are financial constraints,lack of policy,their lack of development,etc.Finally comparing with the more successful community pension model to offered proposals for Chinese social organizations in participating in community pension service.
