With the advent of economic globalization and the information age,the new public management movement is also hit in the tide of globalization,this new movement in full swing to the government agencies and their staff to put forward higher requirements and more work.With the implementation of the public sector target responsibility system,public sector performance evaluation began to arouse the attention of the theoretical and practical circles.People want the government to the most economical means to impose the best quality service,civil service performance evaluation began to be generally concerned.The continuous implementation of various initiatives and policies has led government departments to realize that the performance appraisal work for civil servants is conducive to the selection and appointment of talents,and the performance appraisal system of civil servants as the focus of its management work.How to optimize the performance evaluation system of civil servants is worthy of deep thinking of the subject,but also worthy of further exploration of the field.This paper summarizes the research status and performance evaluation of performance appraisal at home and abroad,and analyzes the basic summary of the traffic police brigade in Nanchang,including the traffic situation and the organization and personnel.situation.And further from the red trough on the road traffic police performance appraisal system found that the existence of the assessment of the main body scattered and the assessment content is not comprehensive,the assessment of unscientific standards and assessment indicators fuzzy,lack of transparency in the assessment process and the use of inadequate examination results and other issues.Then,in view of the above problems,the use of questionnaires and field interviews to conduct in-depth study,summed up the main reason for its existence is the lack of due position analysis and the inherent nature of the system and the department led to the formalization of assessment.Finally,on the improvement of Honggu Tan traffic police brigade traffic police performance appraisal system from three major aspects of the proposal,that is,improve the performance appraisal system,improve the incentive mechanism and strengthen the performance appraisal environment construction.
