Study On Social Stability Risk Analysis Of Wangqingtuo Reservoir Project

If the social risk factors behind major water conservancy project are not taken into consideration,they will not only affect the successful implementation of the project,but also have a negative social impact.Analyzing the social risks behind the water conservancy project can help greatly in preventing and dissolving risks of inharmonious social factors,and the project can be guaranteed to be carried out smoothly.According to the practical situation of the Wangqingtuo reservoir project of the middle route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project in Tianjin,this thesis carried out a survey into the social stability risks behind the project from many aspects,such as the policy planning and approval process,land acquisition,eco-environmental impact,socio-economic impacts,project management,security factors and public opinions of media,and identified some major risks that may mostly affect the project.It conducted risk-based security assessment to each factor and estimated the risk level of the whole project.Based on this,this thesis proposed some precaution and resolution measures to this project's social stability risks from aspects like land acquisition,engineering,eco-environment,socio-economy,project management and health and safety.This study implies to provide basis and support for maintaining of social stability of the project construction.It is very helpful for the project stakeholder and relevant government departments to take precaution measures,so as to promote the coordinative development between the project and economic society.
