Research On The Coordinated Development Of Population Urbanization And Basic Public Services In Shandong Province

China's urbanization has been greatly accelerated andhas become an important engine to promote China's economic development.But while we also find that lots of various city problems arising.Therefor,the state has put forward the strategy of "new urbanization" and advocated "people-oriented" Urbanization which the core of it is population urbanization.To improve the quality of population urbanization,we must vigorously develop the basic public services and improve the level of basic public services.Shandong is a populous province,large agricultural province and economic province in the east of China and the problem that population urbanization and basic public services can not develop coordinatedly is very prominent.This paper summarizes previous researchesaboutpopulation urbanization and basic public services,using the theory and research methods of geography,public management and so on,and regards 17 cities in Shandong Province as the research object.First,compare the situations of population urbanization and the basic public service by the statistics datas,and then select the 28 indexes of population urbanization and the basic public service to establishsystem and use the entropy method and the coordinated development degree model for the calculation of the situation around Shandong city for many years.The results show:(1)The level of Shandong population urbanization is not high,hasthe big gap between the poles,in imbalance of regional development and develops slowly.The level of basic public services is low,has a big gap between different cities,the internal development of each subsystem is not balanced and the development is slower.(2)The coordinated development of urbanization and basic public services in Shandong has the low degree and a large gap between different cities and regions,and the basic public services are generally lagging behind the populationurbanization.And find there is no high-quality coordinated development type in Shandong,the majority of cities in the middle level,the imbalance citiesare also less,by dividing 17 cities to differentcoordinated development types.(3)The spatial difference of coordinated development is very obvious,the coordinated development score of coastal cities are higher than the inland and cities around Jiaoji line are higher than others in Shandong.The causes of the differences are analyzed from the aspects of economy,finance,natural conditions,traffic and population.Finally,the paper analyses the causes of the differences and puts forward some suggestions on the coordinated development of population urbanization and basic public services in Shandong.
