Research On The General Election Of Villager Committee Of S Town In H District,Guangdong Province

China is a leading agricultural country.The rural area is the foundation of society,which is also the cornerstone of social stability.The stable and harmonious development of rural areas can not do without the strong and powerful rural grass-roots organizations.The rural grass-roots organizations are not the first class political power,neither one of the administrative organs.The governance of the rural areas depends on the villagers'self-governance.The Villagers' Committee is the basic autonomous organization.It is the existence of the Villagers' Committee that farmers are able to participate directly in the management of rural society.The completion of rural social construction tasks must rely on the Villagers' Committee,which mobilizes and organizes farmers to make it.Without Villagers' Committee,the frame structure of social governance would not be perfect,the government decree could not flow to the grassroots.With the continuous deepening of reform,the rural society is undergoing profound changes,and the economic and social relations have also become more complex and diverse.There have been more difficult,hot issues,such as financial management of village affairs,the allocation of village collective assets,and the work-style of village cadres.If not handled properly,these problems may lead to the increase of farmers'mass incidents,which affect the social stability and the harmonious development of our country.After years of practice,the democratic election of the Villagers' Committee is proofed to be a significant way to resolve the social contradictions at the grass-roots level in the rural areas.Therefore,whether the Villagers' Committee is advanced and powerful affects the implementation situation of the rural construction by the party and state.Choosing a mighty Villagers' Committee,which takes the interests of farmers as the first,plays a very important role on rural development.Essentially,the general election is in order to allow the villagers to hold the initiative voting right.In this way,villagers are able to vote according to their own wishes.They can choose excellent,accredited cadres,and cadres who really work for villagers.However,with the deepening reform of economic society,the rural social structure,agricultural operating activities,and farmers' ideology have undergone profound changes.Some local Villagers' Committee elections have begun to deviate from the true meaning of the democratic election.Some rural general elections have even become the means of some people who have an ulterior motive for personal gain.It has seriously hindered the development of rural economic society and damaged the interests of farmers.The Villager Committee of S Town,H District in Guangdong Province has gone through seven general elections.New demands,new changes and new problems arose in every election.This paper focuses on the election situation of the Villagers' Committee in H S town.It discusses and analyses the existing problems of the general election and the factors that influence the general election.By putting forward some countermeasures and suggestions on how to promote the general election work,this paper provides reference for rural election work,which is significant to promoting the harmonious development of the rural area in the town of S H.
