With the expanding of Chinese opening-up and the further development of educational reform, the level and the scale of education is gradually improving. But in the practice of Chinese-foreign cooperative education, many drawbacks and problems appeared. By setting the cooperative education between Wuhan Institute of Technology and University of Portsmouth in artificial intelligence major as an example, this paper explains the principles and the methods of the course linking in Chinese-foreign cooperative education.Realizing the differences between Chinese and foreign education philosophy, this paper specifically investigates the higher education course linking in Chinese-foreign cooperative education. The paper expresses the principles in course linking in Chinese-foreign cooperative education, and the methods to link core courses and specialized courses respectively. To improve the current teaching situation and advance the development of Chinese-foreign cooperative education, this paper proposes measures in the construction of teachers and the selection of quality teaching materials respectively as the kernel of course construction.
