National Student Physical Health Standard is the evaluation standard for students' physical health status and exercise effects as well as the national basic requirements for physical health of students in different age groups. Meanwhile, it is the individual evaluation standard for student's physical health. The concept of health here includes physical health, mental health and social adaptation. What National Student Physical Health Standard covers is students' physical health which is closely related to school physical education.This paper introduces the adjustments of National Student Physical Health Standard by applying of literature method, interview method, questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method. On the basis of this adjustment, this paper conducts an investigation and studies effects of these adjustments from the perspective of Cognition, teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching evaluation, and status of extracurricular activities.In summary, the key conclusions are in the followings: 1.After the adjustment, tests are paid more attention to hard targets of physical quality for students. Test contents are relatively unified, simple and visualized, and tests have stronger operability so that it is convenient for teachers and students to strictly carry out; 2. The normalization of physiological and biochemical indexes-- such as height, weight and vital capacity and so on-- is benefit for students to make a habit of taking long-term and autonomous exercise; 3. The augment of extra points also has effects that students raise concern about the physical quality, especially endurance and strength, in order to have the initiative of exercise for students to improve the physical quality; 4. After the adjustment, students prefer to PE classes and take part in more physical activities so that their physical qualities improve; 5. The utilitarianism of exercising for students is still serious; 6. After the adjustment, teachers' workloads increase, and teaching goals and tests contents are more multiple. Teaching evaluations of PE have positive changes; 7. After the adjustment, the school has to increase the equipment of teachers to improve the level of PE teachers, therefore, it requires better playgrounds and equipment of the school;Main problems in sports teaching during implementation and adjustment include: 1. Obvious utilitarian thoughts in student's motivation for physical exercise; 2. Limited teachers' ability, modest teaching effect; 3. Insufficient professional teachers; 4. The school's inadequate investment in sites and facilities; 5. The school's lack of supervision and execution; 6. Lack of physical test system.Aiming at the problems, suggestions proposed in this paper mainly include: 1. Strengthen the school's sports supervision and management system; 2. Improve the sports teaching evaluation system; 3. Diversify the sports teachers' teaching forms; 4. Increase the school's sports sites and facilities; 5. Reasonably select the content of sports teaching; 6. Strengthen continuous in-depth study on the influence of “Standards(Revised)” on teaching.
