The teacher burnout is an extreme reaction when teachers cope with work stress hardly, an exhaustion state of teachers’ emotion, attitude and behavior generated by long-term work pressure. Burnout affects not only the quality of education and the stability of teachers, but also the healthy development of students seriously. Primary education is basic education, which might directly affect the subsequent education. The primary school teachers are faced with the majority of children and adolescents, so their physical and mental health directly affects the students’ view of life and value. Therefore, the study on primary school teacher burnout is of great significance.The author selected two hundred teachers in Benxi five public elementary schools randomly as the research object by questionnaire and in-depth interviews, aiming at exploring the status and influence factors of the teacher burnout, by which to propose measures to effectively prevent and mitigate the teacher burnout.This article is divided into five parts as follows:The first part is introduction, including the origin and concept definition of teacher burnout. Domestic and foreign research status, the research’s purpose and significance and methods are also included.The second part analyzes current situation of the primary teachers’ burnout. It mainly includes the overall sample, the primary school teacher burnout overall analysis. The basic analysis of primary teacher burnout is done from the view of demographic variables.The third part is the analysis on the influence factors of primary school teacher burnout whose overall analysis and regression analysis are included in this part. The study found that following factors have significant effect on teacher burnout, such as workload, career development, relationship, school environment, teachers’ personality and teachers’ skills.The fourth part is about the strategies analysis on primary school teacher burnout. The strategies are found to help ease the teachers’ job burnout mainly from the social factors, school factors and personal factors.The fifth part is the conclusion. Based on summing up the study results, the shortcomings of the research are analyzed and the prospect is put forward.
