Language is the main content for a new student in Grade one to learn.The adaption to language learning directly affects the students' interest in learning, the attitude towards learning, the abilities to learning, the academic performance and other aspects. If the children who have just started school intend to receive a comprehensive elementary education on language,they need lay the foundation in Pinyin, writing, reading, oral communication,etc., but also in the interests in learning, the learning abilities and the learning habits.In the process of educational reformation, more and more people are concerned about school adaptation of elementary students in their beginning.But their is few theoretical results are focused on the adaption to the learning of specific discipline. Centered on the language learning, this thesis is going to explore the situation of learning and the problems in their adaptability to language learning by the means of literature, observation and interviews. The main investigation are as follows :( a) the adaptation to Pinyin(b) the adaptation to Reading(c)the adaptation to Writing(d) the adaptation to the oral communication. From the survey results combined with observation and interviews, the thesis concludes that some children cannot adapt to the language learning well in theirs beginnings. And the factors as the schools,kindergartens, teachers and the families are supposed to influence children adaption to language learning.No matter the national promotion, the social development, the national prosperity, and the development of student life, the adaptation to the language learning for the new students of elementary school should be paid much more attention. Based on that, the thesis put forwards two suggestions to teachers and parents: Firstly, the correct instructions and training of teachers is the key point. Teachers should understand the students, good students enrolled beforethe research work,adjust the learning process, the initial slow progress of teaching,to clear focus on teaching content,teaching methods should be diversified,teaching materials to be rich,establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,enhanced First grade language teachers to do the work of convergence conscious young,establish home-school co-guide mode.Secondly,parents' pertinent guidance is supported. Parents should help their children school readiness,parents have the right Role,help children learn effectively,parents should meet with the school and teachers.I hope to help these students adapt to language learning better, and i wish the thesis can be used for references and borrowed for teachers and parents.
