The Research On Xu Heng's Disciples' Teaching Activities Of Yuan Dynasty

Along with house running, the rulers of Yuan dynasty unified the central plains. On the one hand, the rulers of Yuan dynasty maintain the national culture in the tradition education, and on the other hand, they assimilated the outstanding culture and education ideas of the Han nationality. Yuan dynasty set up a complete system of feudal education. A lot of educationist such as Xu Heng, they carried on a series of education teaching activities. This education teaching activities promoted the development of education. Furthermore, the activities accelerated the proceeding of the feudalization of Yuan dynasty.Xu Heng's disciples not only conformed to Xu Heng's teaching ideas, but also expanded the activities based on Xu Heng's teaching ideas. In order to cultivated the moral principles of monarch, subject, father and son, Xu Heng's disciples asserted building the Confucian schools. And they admonished the rulers of Yuan dynasty increase students of different nations in order to selected excellent feudal ruling bureaucrats.Teaching activities of Xu Heng's disciples are very plentiful and teaching venues are very extensive. The teaching activities are not only including the teaching activities in school, but also include the teaching activities in political and daily life. Teaching activities of his disciples left lots valuable experiences for today's teaching activities. In teaching activities, Xu Heng's disciples pay much attention to keep national characteristics and the development of national education. They accepted students which from the different nationalities. It made the ethnic composition diversified in teaching territory. Furthermore, they used the different teaching forms and enriched the teaching content, etc. These teaching activities laid the foundation of the teaching activities of Ming and Qing dynasty, and on the other hand, it had a far-reaching influence for the contemporary teaching activities.This paper is based on historical materials and use the literature analysis and historical analysis for the research methods. This paper adhering to the objective research attitude, and aim to find the mistakes which should be reference according to study the teaching activities of Xu Heng's disciples.This paper is divided into four parts. Part one is about the history review of Xu Heng's disciples and discussing the reasons and significance of this topic. Part two is discussing the basic condition of Xu Heng's disciples. Based on the historical material, part three is about the teaching activities of Xu Heng's disciples. Last part is focus on characteristics of Xu Heng's disciples and reality enlightenment which is brought through the teaching activities.
