Emotional intelligence is the ability that individuals effectively perceive and understand their own and others' emotional state in learning, job, and life, and the ability that individuals can adjust their own behaviors and solve emotional problems by making use of the information perceived. Career decision making self-efficacy is the confidence that individuals need for completing different tasks when implementing occupational decisions. Social adaption refers to the ability that individuals make response to the changing social environment, learning mode, personal relation, future development, and mental state; adjust their coping way constantly and complete learning missions smoothly in the new social environment; prepare to enter into the society with a better physical and mental state in the future.Foreign exploration and research on CDMSE began in 1970 s and 1980 s, focusing on college student employment. In addition, these researches made positive contributions to college student employment services. At present, there are few researches on CDMSE in China, and there are few researches on the deep relations among different factors that influence CDMSE of college students. The author argues that researches on CDMSE of college students and its relevant factors no only have important realistic meanings for college students to understand and develop themselves, but also promote personnel of employment education service organizations and relevant departments in universities to understand college students' mental features and employment needs objectively and to set systematic occupational career planning education system to improve college students' social adaption ability. The research focuses on emotional intelligence, CDMSE, and social adaption. Firstly, the paper sorts out and discusses theoretical concepts, measuring modes, and relevant theoretical researches. Furthermore, the paper, with the method of questionnaire, takes 515 college students from four universities in Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, and Kaifeng as research objects to investigate and measure their emotional intelligence, career decision making self-efficacy, and social adaption by distributing questionnaire of emotional intelligence of college students, measuring tables of CDMSE, and measuring tables of social adaption. For one thing, the paper analyzes the general features of emotional intelligence, career decision making self-efficacy, and social adaption, and discusses the difference on demographic variables, such as sex and grade. For another, the paper discusses the relationship among social intelligence, career decision making self-efficacy, and social adaption. The research results are as follows:(1) In general, social adaption of college students is at the medium level and above.(2) CDMSE of college students and social adaption differ in the aspect of demographic variable.(3) Emotional intelligence, CDMSE, and social adaption have significant positive correlation.(4)The results of the regression analysis show that college students' emotional intelligence and career decision making self-efficacy can predict social adaption significantly, so building the regression model has significant meaning.(5) From the mediating effect test,it could be found that the mediation model whose independent variable is emotional intelligence and whose dependent variables are CDMSE and social adaption could be established successfully. CDMSE plays a mediating role in the influence of emotional intelligence on social adaptation to some degree.
