Talent and innovation is the core of the competition all over the world, creative talents become scarce resources. The thinking ability as the core competence of the innovative talents, more and more brought to the attention of the world education. Develop the students' ability of thinking became the various countries' of the important goals of the department of education.Geography is a comprehensive discipline.Comprehensiveness, spatiality and regionalism is the typical characteristics of geography. How to use the geography characteristics, cultivating students' subject ability, has always been a high school geography teaching goal in the first place. "The core accomplishment" is a popular vocabulary in basic education in recent years. Cultivate the students' subject core accomplishment will be the teachers' teaching emphasis in all the subjects. Cultivate the students' subject ability and "the core accomplishment" ultimate aim is to develop students' intelligence and ability, and thought forms the core of intelligence and ability.Geographical thinking ability is the most important ability of geography subject ability was the key to "core geographic literacy" form. Training students' geographical thinking ability, is advantageous to the rich geography classroom teaching, improve the efficiency of geography learning; Also is advantageous to the development of students' thinking ability, enhance the quality of thinking. How to make students obtain the ability is an important task of geography teaching.The thesis is according to constructivism learning theory and Lin Chongde' intelligence theory that focus on thinking structure. Combined with the definition of related concepts and domestic and abroad research progresses, using literature study, interview and questionnaire investigation, from the geography teaching strategy of cultivating the thinking ability, and geographical special thinking ability. The interview subjects are high school geography teachers in Henan province and geography education experts at Henan university. The questionnaire survey subjects are a part of high school teachers and students in Henan.The high school geography teachers of the interviewee mainly from Kaifeng part of high school and participate in the elementary and middle schools teachers cultivation project of the geography teachers in Henan province. The primary purpose is the geography teachers' perceptions of geographical thinking ability, training methods, emphases, difficulty and solution. The main purpose of Henan university geography education experts' s interview is suggestions to develop strategy. The geography teachers of survey is mainly come from Henan University subsidiary secondary school, Kaifeng No.25 high school,Kaifeng railway high school,Luoyang No.19 high school,Luoyang No.1 high school and participate in the elementary and middle schools teachers cultivation project of the geography teachers in Henan province. A total of 40 the teachers`questionnaires issued to recover the 40 valid questionnaires was 100%. Students were come from Henan University subsidiary secondary school, Kaifeng No.25 high school and Kaifeng railway high school.There have 3 classes of grade one and1 class of grade two.A total of 180 the students`questionnaires issued to recover the 172 valid questionnaires was 95.5%.Questionnaire mainly from the teachers' understanding of geographical thinking situation, students' understanding of geographical thinking, geographical thinking ability of students, the thinking ability of students and the self-development of geographical thinking five theme of the design.Through the analysis of the interviews and survey data, the preliminary master to the following situation:(1)high school teachers and students have a certain knowledge of geographic thinking;(2)part of the teachers in the teaching pay attention to the cultivation of students' geographical thinking, but the lack of a long-term, systematic training strategy;(3) students' self development geography thinking the situation is not optimistic;(4)some students lack of thinking skills and methods of learning and training, thinking quality remains to be further improved;(5)in geographic study, most of the students' thinking is sometimes sometimes chaotic state clearly, geographical thinking ability to ascend;(6)in the teaching, geography teachers less class time were the main difficulties faced to the great pressure, lack of development strategy, and the university entrance exam, students learn the main difficulties are geographic concepts easily confused and can not accurately grasp the question.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the above problem, combining with geography education expert at the university of Henan in the teacher's advice and opinion, in this paper, the cultivation of the strategy as follows:First,formulate a clear objective,and make a training plan.Second, create good teaching environment, build the atmosphere of positive thinking.based on geographical knowledge, cultivate a variety of thinking methods.Fourth, to cultivate the geography thinking quality, improve thinking ability.Fifth, use maps to cultivate the students' geographical spatial image thinking ability. Sixth, use thinking skills, form a geographical logical thinking.Innovation of this paper lies in:First, and most of the research focused on geographical thinking of concrete thinking ability training compared. This paper, from the geographical thinking ability training teaching strategies and Geographic special thinking ability training strategy in two aspects of the unique research perspective; Second, focus on the factors of a comprehensive, geographical thinking ability training strategy is more practical.Geographical thinking ability for students' intellectual development, as well as the important position in the geography education, more and more attention. Is whether geography education experts and scholars, or geography teachers will continue to delve into. This will be for the better development of the students' thinking ability, also provide powerful support for the cultivation of innovative talents in our country.
