With the breakout of the comprehensive Anti-Japan War,the July 7th incident in 1937 broke out,the National government represented by Jiang Jieshi emphasized the education of Chinese traditional culture and moral to the students,in order to resist the enemy's invasion by cultivating the students' sense of national pride and patriotic feelings.The history education was an important way to achieve this goal,the status in the secondary school courses had becoming more and more important.The National government formulated a series of middle school history education policy and putted it into practice specially in order to adapt to wartime requires,which had an important historical significant at that time and the later.Therefore,this paper carried out the study on the policy and practice of middle school history of the National government during the comprehensive Anti-Japan War.First,the paper elaborates the background of the middle school history education policy of the National government during the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,including the change of contradiction after the comprehensive Anti-Japanese broke out,the transformation of the educational thought of the national government and the rise of attention to history education.Secondly,based on analyzing the policy of middle school history education of the National government in the period of Anti-Japanese war,the paper discusses the guiding thought of policy formulation of the middle school history education,including Jiang Jieshi's wartime education theory and the education theory of the minister of education of the National government,providing the theoretical support for the policy development of the middle school history education.On the basis of this theory,the National government ministry of Education began to revise the course standards of high school history,mainly from the curriculum objectives,time control,teaching syllabus,and the implementation method summary.On demand of the new high school history course standards,the middle school history textbooks showed some problems,such as the question about the Chinese nation,the Chinese culture,the narrative of Japanese history,the errors of accounting the historical facts wrong,the teaching methods.Therefore,the ministry of education developed new compiling principle for the middle school history textbook,newly revised the history textbooks of middle school.Finally,by the revision of middle school history curriculum standard and history textbooks,theministry of education enriched history teaching content of middle school history teaching,improved history teaching methods,and strengthened the function of history education.The results show that the above measures not only boosted the aborigines' aspirations of the nation,promoted the development of the progress of history education and the national culture,but also cultivated and transported a large number of the heroic fighter for the Anti-Japanese War.By Carefully studying the policy and practice of the middle school history education of the national government this period,it will not only promote the rational knowledge of history function,grasp the historical education essence of the national government,also help the history education to keep pace with the times,carrying forward and the broadening the national fine traditional culture.
