The Effect Of Gansu Population Age Structure To The Consumption Structure

Age structure of Population issue has been a worldwide problem,with the deepening of population aging,and our country officially implements the "two-child policy" in 2016,Under these background,How big the change of population age structure influences social life,economic development and residents' consumption is our topic.Gansu Province formally entered aging society since 2005,although there are many researches on population age structure impacting consumption,most of them focus on the level of consumption,and less of them on the structure.Unless the scope of the study mainly come from the national researches,partly individual ones,and mainly concentrated on the eastern and central provinces,the few studies of Northwest China.So this article on studying the effects of population age structure in Gansu Province on consumption structure has a strong practical and applied.Firstly,this paper qualitatively analysis trends and characteristics of population age structure,both urban and rural residents' consumption structure of Gansu.Further more theoretically analysis the impact of population age structure to the residents' consumption structure.Secondly,Using gray relational analysis.this paper empirically analysis the effect from population age structure to urban and rural residents' consumption,and drawing some conclusions between urban and rural resident' consumption.Thirdly,Finding some useful conclusions orphenomenons.Child population has higher spending on education,entertainment and food.Working age population is concentrating much on housing,food,clothing.Correspondingly,Elder population has a high degree correlation with health insurance,transportation,household equipment and services.The different point is that population of working ages and elder population have lower correlation with cultural,educational and entertainment products and services in Gansu compared with other studies.Besides there are also differences between urban and rural areas,urban child population have a higher correlation with the cultural,educational and entertainment products and services,While rural ones have a higher correlation with the food.Rural aging population have a higher correlation with household equipment and services than urban ones.Finally,the paper are given some suggestions.
