| Head teacher is the organizer and the manager of class.Also,they are the guide of the students’ spiritual growth and the "significant others" who have effects of student development.Currently,there are many practical difficulties for junior high school head teachers’ professional development.The junior high students are at an important stage of values formation,so it is important to junior high school head teachers’ professional development.Given the special nature of this development,is needs a junior high school head teacher professional development system which is in line with regional characteristics as soon as possible.The paper not only contributes to the formation system,scientific and rational way to promote junior high school head teachers’ professional development system,but also can provide an effective and feasible theoretical basis for professional development of junior high school head teacher.This paper uses the existing literature based on theoretical studies to try to divided the growth of junior high school head teacher professional development pathways in five categories.At the same time,with a summary of the 16 specific ways to promote existing literature teacher professional growth,the paper make research and analysis of each specific ways.Secondly,the paper uses the questionnaire survey on the current status,effectiveness and expectations of 211 junior high school head teachers’ professional development in Dalian.Thirdly,it uses the SPSS to make the ANOVA and post-test of whether different contextual factors have an impact on the application of each way.The numerical results represent and arrange of various ways.Through questionnaires and interviews conducted attribution,the paper classify problems for junior high school head teacher professional development.Finally,the paper proposes appropriate management responses from the perspective of their own class,school administrators angle,school management system point of view,the relevant administrative departments of education and teacher education departments. |
