| The paper attempts to study the costs and results of college graduates on job-search in Gansu province based on the data of “the employment of university graduates in 2015questionnaire” of Gansu province. The cost of college graduates spend on job-search mainly includes the total cost, job recruitment cost, tickets cost, transportation,accommodation, the fees of consulting and sending gifts for job, make a cover material fee, networking fee, information search, and other costs. The factors that affected the cost include job-search time, acceptable unemployment time, whether learn about the job worked on, the main ways of getting information and how many units they contacted,the number of cities they went for the job, etc. The fee of job-search can bring two sides impact on the job-search result, maybe positive or negative impact, through the regression analysis on the cost and mouth income, to find the relationship between the job-search costs and mouth income of the job, make some reasonable guidance for graduates to obtain higher income. Through the analysis about job-search cost, we found that the longer job-search time they have, the higher cost of the search they has, and the graduates began to learn more about the job that worked on. To analyzing the various factors that affected the job-search and it can improve the job-search efficiency. The paper aims to study the job-search results and mainly includes the graduates whether chose the job, average monthly income of the job they identified and whether satisfied with the job.Through the statistical analysis of the problems related to data in the questionnaire attempts, the author tried to explore the relationship between costs and results of college graduates in the job-search and find out the more significant factors affected on the job-search results. Besides, the paper put forward the corresponding suggestions to the job-search behavior of college graduates on the basis of the analysis conclusion. |
