Nowadays,a lot of vocational schools emphasize so much on specialized courses that culture courses are still being ignored,which directly leads to the nondevelopment of culture-course teachers.Many teachers hardly have any chances to receive trainings,which consequently leads to the slow development of their specialized skills and the decrease of the teaching effects.This is contradictory to the goal of quality education and educational reform.In this situation,it makes great sense to discuss the professional development of the culture-course teachers in vocational schools.This essay takes H school as example and studies the presesnt professional skills of culture-course teachers.It objectively reflects the a lot of problems,such as culture-course teachers not being paid enough attention,not having enough training,being bordered,having weak awareness of career development,lack of goals,their professional sills needing to be improved,etc.There are three factors which affect the professional development of culture-couse teachers in vocational school: school,teachers themselves as well as students.Schools should pay attention to those teachers and take all measures to make sure that culture-course teachers have rights to receive trainings.Teachers themselves should have clear awareness of their career development and improve their skills continously.Students should have good cooperation with their teachers and study hard.
