Junior high school class organization is made up of different individual groups, and it has the formal group and the informal group in the structure. The formal group and the informal group in the class exist at the same time, and they are of function and interaction at the time. Therefore, it also should pay attention to and attach importance to the role of informal group when pay attention to and attach importance to the role of the formal group in the junior middle school class management in order to reduce errors and deviation in class management and to raise the effectiveness of the class management work. Therefore, there’s some important significance to research on the role of student informal groups in the junior high school class management.But it need to be aware that the role of informal group in the management of junior middle school is just supporting role rather than a leading role, the formal groups such as class, class committee, league branch, still play a leading role on the management of junior middle school. Besides, Due to the diversity of the demand of junior high school students and the composite or cross between formal groups and informal groups in junior high school class, there are many different types of informal groups in the class, and maybe there are informal groups which are across the class and the intercollegiate. So this study is mainly study the roles of informal groups of libertinage type, emotion type, intellectual style, utilitarian style and negative st yle in the junior high school class management, and we will not research the informal groups of the cross-class and intercollegiate.So this study’s research foundation is the human relations theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. This study is mainly from the perspective of junior high school class management, standing on the position of the teacher in charge of junior high school class, to discuss the role of informal groups in junior high school class management. In this study, we choose the 328 students of grade 8 0f B middle school in Guangchang county of Jiangxi province as the research object. Through the form of questionnaire and interview to understand and grasp the roles of informal groups of grade 8 of B middle school in Guangchang count y of Jiangxi province. In this study, we summarized the positive roles of the informal groups in the junior high school class management mainly for: help to assist in class management work carried out in an orderly manner; help to auxiliary the management of the class activities; help to the class management in the correction measures of class management; and summarized the negative effect mainly for: easily lead to class organization internal unity; informal groups often activities will be the formation of class of good class atmosphere and style of study; the behavior of the negative informal group members will affect class order stability. And summer up the reason that the junior high school student informal groups have a negative effect on the class mana gement. Lastly, this study is also to put forward some suggestions to guide informal groups to play a positive role in the junior high school management of the class in order to provide certain reference and enlightenment for the junior high school teacher s in charge of class management in order that they can better manage the class, and promote the formation of a good class.
