The Multiple Intelligence Theory was first proposed by American Professor Howard Gardner from Harvard University in his book Frames of Mind in 1983, which not only shows the direction for the guidance of new personalized teaching thoughts and Chinese teaching reform, but also offers a good idea for implementing quality education in our country. Gardner 's theory of multiple intelligence provides us a new perspective on smartness and success as another way to judge the students' study, which shows full respect to their personalities for each student has a relative intelligence field. At the same time, it also injected new vitality and vigor for the traditional Chinese teaching.This article first starts from elaborating the application of multiple intelligence theory to the background and significance of middle school Chinese. On the basis of analyzing the relationship between them and the value of the theory in education teaching, some enlightenment of the theory to school Chinese teaching objectives, ideas as well as methods can be got.Secondly, in order to make the theory of multiple intelligence better fused and developed in the middle school Chinese teaching, now the article puts forward two solutions: one is to create classroom teaching method,including personalized teaching, collaborative teaching and contextualized teaching; the other is to create multiple intelligence evaluation system,which includes the diversity of evaluation content, evaluation method and the evaluation subject. Last but not least, the article analyzes the application of the theory of multiple intelligence in middle school Chinese teaching, with specific cases as paradigm to further discuss.
