The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Classroom System Based On The Multimedia Guidance Case Model

As information technology and internet are penetrating in the field of education, the majority of educators began to explore informatization teaching approach. The Flipped classroom mode and the guidance case teaching mode are widely adopted in recent years, and then they changed the traditional classroom teaching structure through instructor-led and self-learning pattern. However, these two teaching modes have advantages and disadvantages as well as they are lack of practical tools, so that these two teaching modes have limitations in practical usage. Hence, how to make full use of the advantages of these two teaching modes, and then achieve the hybrid teaching in self-learning and classroom teaching have become research priorities in the field of current online education.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1) The proposing of the abstract Multimedia Guidance Case Model. The abstract Multimedia Guidance Case Model is proposed through the analysis of the flipped classroom teaching mode and the guidance case teaching mode, and then find the symbiosis path of these two teaching modes. The model makes the traditional guidance case multimediality and combines the flipped classroom concept. As a result, it acts better in supporting the interactive teaching mode and dramatically improve the teachers' teaching quality and the students' learning efficiency.(2) The design of online classroom system based on the Multimedia Guidance Case Model. The online classroom system is designed on the basis of the Multimedia Guidance Case Model. The online classroom system is divided into guidance case making tool, guidance case arrangement and management tool, teaching tool, learning situation analysis tool, and PC plus mobile terminal learning tool for students. These tools cooperative application achieves the aim of efficient interactive teaching of teachers and students.(3) The implementation of mobile terminal learning tool in online classroom system. The mobile classroom system is developed and put into practice after testing. It achieved students' guidance case learning anytime and anywhere. The system is developed by Flex framework. The advantage of this framework is that it can be apply to two platform applications for Android and i OS through once programming. Therefore, this application attained cross platform capability.The research results of this paper have important actual value. At present, online classroom system had been on trial in a number of schools and obtained the highly reception from a vast number of teachers and students. The practical value of multimedia guidance case model meets preliminary approval.
