Major identity means students have their own judge on their major, which have some changes on their emotions and behaviors based on acknowledge of the major they study. The major identity will directly affect the quality of the students' study and affect the whole quality of the students. Due to the particularity of education subject, education major postgraduates face greater threat than other postgraduates when finding jobs, whose major identity are more attractive than others. Therefore, what major identity affect factors are and their relation is. The study makes sampling survey in two universities which have education major master degree in Shanxi province through the method. The main purpose is to understand the basic situation of postgraduate's major identity and influence factors, analyzing the changes of their major identity and influence factors in different demographic variable information, in order to explore education major identity and different affect factors.Through questionnaire, investigation, the data we got made comparing the mean test, regression analysis by using SPSS software. After finishing materials analysis, got the followingconclusions:1. Education major identity in medium level, and professional learning experience is in the best level while professional pay worst.2. Education major identity has no significant difference between genders. Education major identity has significant differences in different degree categories and different choices. Education major identity has no significant on whether to cross major. Education major identity has biggest distinct in different majors and different grades.3. Each dimensions of education major identity exists higher correction, including professional learning experience the impact on the professional pay more than the professional pursuit the impact on the professional pay.4. In terms of internal factors of education major identity, the students' self consciousness has the greatest influence, the stronger the self-consciousness of participants, the major identity was greater.5. Education major identity and external factors affecting the mentor, future employment have higher correlation. The influence of the future employment of major identity is higher than the affect on major identity of the instructor.According to the result of analysis, there are some problems between the inside and the outside. Because of the limitation of themselves, so the inside problems are the lack of self-awareness and the lack of knowing of the education major. Because the future employment is the biggest factors of the outside factors, so theproblems are in aspects of learning support of major study and docking of the social and the school. So there are four proposals:students improving autonomy, the propaganda Education major,perfecting the Education support of each link, Education training objectives adapting to the needs of society.
