With the sustainabl e development of the concept of Harmonious Classroom,the application of the eco logical idea on ed ucation has become more and m ore popular.So the Ecological classroom is concerned by more and more scholars.It provides a new perspective for the study of English classroom.Ecology with the idea of harmony,which emphasizes the interaction between teac hers and students,attaches m uch importance to the process of natura l production,the diversification of teaching evaluation and the overall de velopment.The idea of natural ecology,sustainable development has brought new methods for t he current middle school English class form ative evaluation i n the countryside.Under the background of the im plementation of t he New English Curriculum Standard in junior m iddle school,the thesis com bined with the basic idea of the new curriculum ref orm to focus on the process of evaluation.In the process of English teaching,we should mainly focus on formative assessment.Under the fo rmative evaluation m odel in the ecological perspective,the thesis focuses on the current situation of imbalanced evaluation in the junior middle school English classroom and proposed the following three research questions:(1)How to build the m odel from the formative assessment in rural junior middle school English class from the ecological perspective?(2)Is the formative assessm ent form the ecological perspective better than the general perspective formative assessment?(3)What is the effect of Formative Assessment on the teaching from the ecological perspective?Through the ways of open ques tionnaire,106 students and the data were analyzed by classroom observation to study the current m iddle school English classroom formative evaluation in the countryside.This paper from the perspective of ecol ogy has made an empirical study on formative assessment in the country side junior m iddle school English classroom.It focuses on the principle of ecology,attempts to create harmonious teaching atm osphere and the real language environm ent.Meanwhile,it also aim s at changing our teaching methods,em phasizing the teaching process interactive ge neration and im proving classroom teaching evaluation system.I have learned some successful teaching experience from Yali Middle School and attempt to seek ef fective strategies to im prove the im balance English classroom in countrysi de middle school to make it more perfect.It took 20 weeks to fi nish the experiment.Fro m the perspective of ecology,the author has b een sticking to use new means of form ative assessment in the whole English teachi ng before class,in class and after class.After the ex periment,his e xperiment has a positive im pact in formative assessment.The test result of the experimental class is higher 11 scores than the control class.After analyzing,the author found that in this new perspective,form ative assessment can change students' attitude better about English learning,help th em to enhance learning m otivation from different levels to evaluate and stimulate,encourage them to form the good habit of autonomous learning,guide them choose some effective strategies from their real situation.A nd then make them take part in all kinds of assessment to promote their self-confidence.At the same time,it provides feedback for teachers and improve the teaching ways to improve English grades.The conclusion of e xperiment proves that the formative ass essment in the ecological perspective is be tter than the general perspective formative assessment by reasonably constructing the model of formative assessment in the countryside m iddle school.The form ative assessment from the ecological perspective has pr omoted teaching effects.English teaching in the countryside junior middle school,we should scientifically change our teaching thoughts,especially we should learn from the new teaching idea of Yali Middle School to perfect the new type of form ative assessment.
