In high school teaching, argumentative writing is always a hard point. With the deepen study in education, the corresponding research is getting richer. Yet, it is particularly noticing that most of the study is concentrate more on the whole high school periods teaching of the argumentative writing but seldom only for the first year. The first year in high school as convergence of the middle school and high school, with the critical time period that the thinking ways of the students changed from the "image" to "abstract", the particularity should be shown in teaching. However, in reality, teachers are not concern too much about the shift of thinking ways of students, there is also a certainly arbitrariness in teaching design. Writing training lack the appropriate focus and systematic; some students also appears to be a loss in the face of argumentative writing. To solve this problem, I try to take several high schools in Fuzhou as examples, by literature study, questionnaires, interviews and case analysis method, grasp a high understanding of the status of the writing teaching. And as the basis, I do the existing problems in current writing teaching. In order to address these problems, I try to put toward corresponding solutions from the three aspects of the usage of teaching materials, teaching methods and students learning methods. So that can provide inspiration and reference in teaching argumentative writing for the teachers of first year of high school students.
