Safety Education Experience And Enlightenment From Japanese Elementary And Secondary Schools

School safety education has become a highly concerned hot and focus problem in the world today.Primary and secondary schools are the places where juveniles get together to learn and grow,so safety education is particularly important.Though security education of primary and secondary schools in China has gradually developed since the reform and opening up policy,some deficiencies still exist.For instance,school safety education is lack of initiative consciousness,normalized safety education practice and safety education guarantee mechanism,with monotonicity of safety education pattern and poor teaching effect while Japan,our neighboring country,takes " lives of students are closely related to the country's future" as the highest principle and has formulated a set of effective safety education system,which becomes a successful model of safety education of primary and secondary schools in the world.In the development of the past few decades,Japan's safety education has gradually become mature and perfect with its contents from the initial disaster and earthquake education until life education,traffic safety education,bullying violence prevention education,network security education,sports safety education,sex safety education,psychological education and so on.Japan forms a complete set of safety education and cultural system,which has laid a good environment for carrying out the primary and secondary school education and has paved a solid road for Japan's post-war rapid economic growth and the implementation of human resource planning.Japan has become a successful model of safety education in the world's developed countries.This article systematically discusses the development of Japan's security education in primary and secondary schools,education goal,teaching content,teaching material writing,courses design,teachers resources,evaluation mechanism and guarantee mechanism.Moreover,this article summarizes the successful experience of Japan's security education of primary and secondary schools,such as safety education initiatives,mature safety education content,normalized management of safety education,pauperization of safety education practice,security education legal system,etc.The main purpose of this paper is to explore the references and lessons for the safety education of elementary and secondary schools in China.Based on the current situation of safety education of elementary and secondary schools in China,this article analyzes the shortcomings of our country's safety education and sums up some advantages from Japan's safety education which will benefit our country's safety education.
