The "three links and one form" teaching model is proposed under the background of new curriculum reform. With the advanced education concept, Dongshan county combined predecessors'experience with its own characteristics, and created a kind of local teaching model. Obviously, it is the teacher and student's call of heart. This paper is an application research and it is to apply the "three links and one form" teaching model into elementary mathematics classroom teaching. Through documentary method, case analysis and interviewing method, this paper will analyze and summarize the relevant research and the current status quo of the "three links and one form" teaching model in the first place, in order to point out the deficiency of the previous studies and put forward the direction of this research. At the same time, the core concept of this study will be defined such as the mathematics teaching model, "three links and one form" teaching model and so on. Secondly, the paper is going to discuss the theoretical basis and the feasibility of the "three links and one form" teaching model in the application of elementary school mathematics teaching. Then it will give a detailed introduction about this typical teaching model and the implementation process of this teaching model in the primary mathematics class. Lastly, according to the practical teaching process, interviews, and my internship experience,we found that there are five problems in the classroom teaching, for example, the design of the outline is unreasonable. Then, based on those problems, we come up with some strategies and improvement form four levels.
